10 Things You Should Know About Your Dog.

10 Things You Should Know About Your Dog.

As many of you do I also have a pet and I haven’t finish learning everything about my dog.

1.  Dog’s Wild side

Even if dogs have been domesticated, their primal instinct remain active to this day and that is something we can’t change. They will always be dog and will always have the instinct of howling at the moon, pack dependency and even territory marking.

2. Your dog can read your face!!!

Dogs are very sensitive and smart animals. They can detect emotions by just looking at your face. By a glance they can tell whether if you are happy, sad or angry.

3. Nose Prints!!!

I bet you come home and you see your door, crystal tables or even sometimes your windows full of nose prints all made by your lovely dog. We humans can be identified by our fingerprints, but our little guys (dogs) can be identified by their nose prints. We humans have unique fingerprints and nose print is unique to that dog.

4. No Chocolate for You Little One!

Even if sometimes we see those little puppy eyes starting at us while we eating a nice piece of chocolate, the best thing we can do is to walk away or stop eating it so we don’t feel bad. Because you should never give your dog chocolate, the chemicals in chocolate are toxic for your dog.

5. Thunderstorm & Dogs

Have you ever wonder why your dog’s cry whenever there is a thunderstorm going on. Well they cry because the sound of the thunder can be painful for their ears and the reaction of your dog has when the storm starts could just be the fear of pain.

6. Sniff! Sniff

If you have a dog at this point I bet you already have notice that they sniff everything around them. Dogs have a powerful sense of smell so powerful and it can be thousand times more sensitive than a human and that’s how dogs learn and memorized many things by the smell.

7. How many dogs you have!

Usually dogs like to be in pack, but if you have just one dog, don’t worry for him/her you are his/her pack they will always see you as their leader.

8. Is your dog hot? Literally!!!

As you may have notice and feel it whenever you touch you dog that their skins appears to be always hot. This is because they have a higher body temperature than humans and that’s why fleas are attracted to your little one and not to you.

9. Treat them equally!

Studies show that indeed dogs can express jealousy. Dogs have the same hormone, Oxycontin, which has been shown to be involved in both expressions of love and jealousy in experiments involving humans. That is why if you have more than one dog make sure you treat them equally so they don’t feel bad.

10. Dog’s will love you till their last breathe!

Dogs are the most faithful animal in this world and they will always give you the best. Love your dog as much as he loves you, they can’t comprehend your words but they will always appreciate when you take the time to rub their ears or when you scratch their back. Always pay attention to them and don’t get mad when you come home and they jump all around, they do it because they are more than happy to see you and they have missed you all they.
