If you
have all the necessary sources to visits big parks you definitely will enjoy a
trip to The Grand Canyon, Yosemite National Park and The Great Smoky Mountains.
America is a country full of natural wonders and beauty. Get out there and show
your family the world is more than strip malls and endless concrete. But if you
don’t have the sources to get out of town you should always enjoy nature, go to
your local parks and take a sweet walk with the family, your pets. The important
thing is to spend quality time with your love ones.
2. Let’s hit
the beach all together!!!
Family,
Friends, Neighbors, Pets and Spring Break = the Beach and awesome time.
Winter
has been cold, gray and doesn't let us enjoy and spend outdoors quality time
with our loved ones. Work and school have been rough. No place on earth relaxes
the spirit like the coast. Bright sun, crashing waves and feet in the sand it’s
you and your family needs and you will have nothing but smiles, memories and
new experiences.
3. Outdoors & Sports
If you have kids and if they
love sports Spring Break is the best time to spend with your kids and teach
them the tricks your father thought you when you were also a kid. There is also
another thing you can do with your family, you can buy tickets to local games
of any kind of sports in Spring
Break and you can have access to small stadiums, get access to the players and
coaches and you will enjoy great weather and in return you will have smiling
faces. What could be more fun? Minor league baseball has teams all over the
country offering the all kind of thrills!
4.
Backyard fun
Traveling is not the only
way to have a great time with the family on vacation. Turn your backyard into
your very own resort destination. If you have a pool what can be more fun than
that? All you need to do is to get everybody together. You can also arrange a
play day with all types of different sports such as ultimate Frisbee or
volleyball. Maybe you will put down an old fashioned slip n’ slide. Even a
sprinkler can keep young kids entertained for hours on end. Think outside the
box and come up with your own unique backyard fun.
5.
Make a Cookout and become a Grill Master.
A skill your child should
have as an adult is the ability to cook good food. The popularity of outdoor grilling is bigger
than ever, people really enjoy getting together and cooking their favorite food.
Spend the week with your kids challenging and expanding your abilities. Become
a grill master cooking for them what they like the most. As a family, research
and find recipes of food you have never attempted. Have your kids involved
every step along the way. Not only will you all have fun and eat well, you will
be giving them a gift that will last a lifetime and memories they will cherish
forever.
6.
Help and Volunteer
Spring break is a perfect
time to give what you can from yourself. Spring is the time of new life and
renewed hope is when the earth gives us a new opportunity to admire the rebirth
of nature. Your family can join in giving nature a hand by planting flowers,
new trees, clean up litter in your neighborhood. Pick up trash around ponds and
creeks that harm wildlife. Help an elderly neighbor with yard work or house
maintenance. Let your family choose the cause and then be the solution.
7.
Plan a Road Trip
How many times have you been
on the road with your family and you all see that big motor home next to you and
wish you were in it with your family? Come on make it happen. RV dealers rent those
big rigs for surprisingly reasonable fees. There are special resorts all over
the country that cater to big motor homes. Research an itinerary that works for
your family and get out on the road and live a new adventure!
8.
Plan an outdoor project
Yard work on vacation!!! Sure!
It’s the perfect time to add beauty and function to your home. Take this time
to add that long talked about gazebo, a fountain, landscaping designs. Maybe
your wife wants a garden and now you can give to her the beauty of flowers in
her home. Get the whole family involved with the vision and planning. Then get
out there with your family and make it happen!
9.
Family Movie Night
Sometimes people generally
travels throughout the week for their work and weekends are usually the only
times for family to spend all together. Some Families really love watching
movies. You can find good family movies on Netflix or through Red box. Make family
movie night a tradition and a quality time to spend with your kids. Even though
sometimes people can’t get together all the time but at least you all can have
the weekend to share! I wonder what you’ll be watching tonight!
9.
Visit your Local Fairs and Festivals
Make plans with whole family
and go for an adventure, get on the roller coaster, let your kids enjoy a
really nice carousel ride. You and your kids will enjoy the food, cotton candy,
caramel apples and more. There are a variety of fairs and festivals to satisfy
everyone from the foodie to the extreme sports enthusiast. Most events are free
or have a low cover charge.
But the most important thing
to do in Spring Break or any other season is to enjoy and spend quality time
with your loved ones. Oh!!! If you have a pet don’t forget they are part of the
family too and they also deserve to enjoy!!!
